Should I get an Electro Faustus Drone Thing?

Or should I not? Would I like it or not? Is there something else I should be looking at instead? Something cheaper? Something I should save up for?
I've been thinking about both the Drone Thing and a Dwarfcraft Somms before but never pulled the drigger. So far I've just been droning "via guitar" or the feedback of my Baby Thundaa. From the demos I've listened to I ten to like the sound of the Drone Thing, more so than other "drone devices"..
Any other suggestions?

What do you like/not like about it? Do you have or have you had any other drone synths/units? What are you using it for/with?

There's nothing I don't like, it does what it does. I don't have any experience with any other similar pedals or synths.
So far the track on that thread is the only one I've done using it, but it won't be the last - what I want is something like an Idiotbox Mad Doctor Stutter to chop up the signal occasionally to add a little more versatility.

I definitely want more drone-generating things (whether or not the Drone Thing) in the more-moneyed tomorrowland.

When I was in the same situation I found Rucci Maximal Drone to be the most pleasant sounding one.

Find a utopia synth...so unstable, the two osc can phase/change repeatedly for long while....buy from jmt...his sub osc are the best...ya don't buy from Faust ..rucci is okay if you only eat vanilla icecream...you'll catch on. Oh yeah.... electro lobotomy. Etsy.com starterZz &nycpedalboutique.com

Hmm. I still think i like the drone thing sound more.... but I didn't know about Rucci and the seem to have some cool stuff. So thanks for letting me know about their existance.

Would you care to elaborate a bit more? Why should I find a utopia synth? What is unstable? The Drone Thing? Or is the utopia unstable in a good way? What about the two oscillators phase/change? Who/What is jmt? Why shouldn't I buy from Faust (electro faustus?) Does fcknoise only eat vanilla icecream? Are you endorsed by etzy and nycpedalboutique? Sooo many questions.

Really curious about the JMT synths, but there's so many different ones, and it's hard for me to understand the differences.
