I would like to bleep, bloop, schkronk, diddle, and fuffufffuffufffufsussussussussuss WHEEEE!!

Essentially I wanna make my guitar signal sound like a YouTube poop.

Is Kaoss pad the answer? I know nothing. While I wait for responses, I'm going to do some research.

Psh I'm just an ordinary guy. Also I can't think of any YouTube videos to insert in my comments. That movie looks crazy though.

I got to play with the kaoss2 this year. Loved it! It’s on the list of things to acquire

Mini Kaoss pads (esp the first gen) are pretty cheap if you keep an eye out for 'em. And they can glooberify sound pretty good. And output to stereo if that's your thing.

The issue is "how do I play guitar and use it."

Only off the rack solution is the (I believe discountinued) Ibanez RGKP6, which also has an absolutely SMOKING built in high gain distortion and actually plays and sounds pretty good.

Caution: take the batteries out when not in use on the KP, it eats them otherwise.

yee a KP3+ can do that. loading samples is kind of annoying but they are frikkin amazing besides that. my favorite 'glitch' device so far. I used to record loops into it live, then use the granular modes and then cut parts out (when you loop it goes through pads 1-8 and you can turn them on/off). you can also record the motion on the pads to free up your hands and get some cool rhythms going. then make a sample out of that and repeat.. blew some punk heads minds a while ago showing them this thing and making impromptu 'beats' out of our fart noises and shitty acoustic playing lmao. can be found for hella fair prices too if you stay vigilant on ebay

I think they're still around. They have one or two of them at a guitar shop just outside of Philly that doesn't seem to carry used gear, but I guess they could be new old stock.

I checked earlier while buying something else - shops may have them, but they're well gone.

George's Music in Springfield. I should qualify that it's been a few months since I was in there, but they definitely had some back in March or so.

Gotta check it out, would love to fool with one of those guitars. Also, anyone know any drawbacks between the 2 and 3. I mostly would use it for live sampling in a weird jazzy electronic thing me and my buds do. Can either of them tap sync loops? The 2 is just a lot cheaper but I feel like the 3 is far superior buying im wrong that’s totally cool

The guitar one is very limited (mini is preset only, but you can still do amazing things with it). I haven't touched any of the big brothers since, well. I mostly play things with strings so....until I make my hair prehensile...
