Ducking Glitches/Threshold Warbles

So...does this exist? Inverse threshold trigger so that glitch/stutter/weirdness only happens when the signal falls below a set threshold? Every sweet thing I can think of (Particle, Outward, Charlie Foxtrot, No Memory, etc.) approaches the threshold from below. Are there an pedals that rain chaos from above?

This is relevant to my interests.

You could do this with the Raptio pretty easily since it has separate wet/dry volumes?

Another hack-at-it solution: is there a channel blender you can control with input attack/decay?

(sidebar that would actually be a really fucking rad pedal someone make it and get Riiiiiich)

Hey guess what: Axoloti.

Also I assumed this was autocorrected from 'fucking.'

ILF has ruined me for actual ducks.

True enough, but I like the idea of it triggering automatically.

Maybe the Zvex Loop Gate could do something like that?

Though I only used them briefly, I'm pretty sure the Revolver and the Judder don't do this, either.

In my fantasy about this pedal, it has the following features:
Sample/slice size
Repeat length (from a single repeat to infinity)
Mix (full dry to full wet, OR separate wet/dry levels)
ASR envelope for the repeats
Threshold control
Expression control over mix/wet
Expression control over sample size (preferably with pitch artifacts...)

That's the simple version, I think. The other version looks like Mode 2 of the CT-5 or the new AARP or something...reverse, randomizer, etc.

I'd be happy with the Charlie Foxtrot with a selectable inverse threshold or the Raptio with the same.

If you want to program it and build it and then sell it to me at a cost that in no way reflects the volume of labor you had to put into it, I'm in.

A conversation for another thread, but I just can't get it together to learn to program sweet shit in puredata.

I suspected so.

Yeah inverse threshold would be very cool, although I am now consumed with the idea of an envelope controlling blend in pedals.

I know you want to stick with pedals but I think Samplr does everything you want?

I am sorry I cannot contribute meaningfully to the thread.

This reminds me that with the Lightning Wave DOOM you can program cross-loop fades with their programmable slider scenario. If you haven't yet, read up on that shit in the Shark Tank. It's not envelope-triggered, but it is super cool.

Looking into that immediately.
