Am I the only one excited about this?

Nope! I'm fucking pumped dude!! I've always wondered why they didn't make another. I'm happy Ridley Scott is involved and Harrison Ford. It's great to see them keeping it to it's roots and not trying to rewrite the whole book. Between this and Alien Covenant, I'm a walking hard on. LOL.

I don't know how it could possibly be better than the original, but I'm still really happy about this.

Yeah, it being a sequel has me a lot more hyped than when rumours of it first popped up suggesting it was a remake.

I am so pumped for this! I've got a major craving to watch the original now, I apparently lost my copy of it, and it's not on Netflix
I might have to order it on Amazon

I refuse to see the trailer. I want to enjoy the movie when it comes out ... but ... the last sci-fi sequal I saw was rough - Independence Day II ... anyway, I'm excited about this one because the dark dystopia of the first has a ton of atmosphere; it holds up today. And the short story it was based on "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" is worth a read. Damn near anything from P.K.Dick is worth reading.

So hyped, even got my Dad to sit down and watch it and i'm dying to see it. What's better is that Denis Villeneuve hasn't made a bad movie, so I have good feeling all around. The Soundtrack also sounds awesome.


I can't wait to read the articles about how Jared Leto had to get into character for his new role by smearing marmalade on strangers, wearing Cateract contact lenses and telling '30 Seconds To Mars' fan to shut the fuck up in character.

I hope the soundtrack is good.
