How do y'all see a picture when it's huge? 90% of the time I can only see the left half of the photo.

Also, when there's a video embed I only see a white square. I am a computer idiot, any help is appreciated.

That's just a quirk of the old board format, I believe—it's not you. Best solution: post smaller images, but obv doesn't always happen

Open the image in a new tab or window to see the whole thing.

As for the YouTube, it may be browser incompatibility or the need to update your Flash.

Ah okay. Yeah my computer is like 10 years old and my Chrome can't get updated anymore, so that's probably my issue.

I didn't know about the new tab thing, either.

if you host on imgur, you can set the size of the embedded image and make it a link to the full-sized one

If you're on mobile you can save big photos to loom at them that way?

Yup. If it wasn't for the mobile version of the site I wouldn't ever be on here.

Pretty sure you're on android, but on iOS you can hold down over the image and press copy then open a new tab and press paste in the address bar, and it opens there without saving locally.
