Youtube just white box??

Am I the only one?
I feel like such a troglodyte....
am on macbook & safari
on ILF I can't see YT no more
flash is up to date...
can't think of solution

You may have to adjust you Safari preferences.
I was using ClickToPlugin to block Flash, but recently had to restore Flash because HTML5 stopped working for me.

been like this for me too for a couple weeks. my browser & os (safari) is super out of date tho so lots of things are starting to not work so well.

What version of the OS are you on? Probably time for an upgrade.

hmmm, after the white boxes showed up I upgraded flash... no change.
Now I checked if Firefox acted the same - it did.
Until I updated flash once more.... now I see the vids in Firefox, but still not safari
"stop plugins to save power" is also deactivated...
hmmm
am on OSX 10.9.5 & Safari 9.1.3

Update to MacOS Sierra is free. That's where I'd start.
