For a moment I got really excited because I thought this was a gritty reboot of Logan's Run. I have no idea why I thought this.

Wasn't the guy who did Valhalla Rising and Drive going to do a gritty reboot of Logan's Run? The original is awesome though, not much to improve.

Dude that's such an awful movie. I mean, awful in a great way, but nonetheless pretty damn bad :D :poke:

I'd totally watch Winding-Refnnnorhoweveryouspellit's reboot. Would have to be better than that last steaming pile of shit he made.

Psyched for Logan.

That got me curious, had to look it up. Apparently the movie's still in the works, and Winding Refn and Ryan Gosling were once attached to it but aren't anymore. The latest:

Got tickets for Logan maƱana with a bud :!!!:

I've missed a lot of the last x-men movies - can I go into this one blind or do I need to catch up on stuff?

Probably blind, since the last three have been prequels. Maybe check out Days of Future Past, that one was good.

Popz: No way, Logan's Run is a classic. :D Would watch a remake, though.

Pretty sure it's fairly standalone. The past ones have been, at least.

Fun fact on Logan's Run: that weird, futuristic waterfall environment is the water gardens in Fort Worth, TX. :yay:

not really...
i'd say watch them in order since this one happens way after all the rest.
skip x-men: the last stand, though. completely terrible waste of time.
