Got a Generation Loss from Cooper FX, Here's a Demo

I got this pedal a few days ago and have been playing with it a lot. It's meant to sound like a VHS tape... that's been copied too many times. Definitely cool for lo-fi or laid back music. I did a demo of it if anyone is interested in seeing it.

Might get more response by posting it there or in the general gear section of the forum. Cool demo. Gave you a sub. I still think it sounds the best with synths or if you run an entire mix through it though.
There's also a secret mode that you missed (unless he removed it in the newer versions of the pedal). There should be a small white toggle on the PCB that turns the pedal into a sample and hold device.

woah, just looked, there is in fact some kind of toggle switch. I didn't know that thanks!

Apparently it "just" turns the compression on/off on the newer PCBs.

lol think i just read what UC was sayin on a magpie vid...funny. Lords of gear are telling me to go find the older generation loss or somthing

Just, as in "it used to make it into an entirely different pedal and now it turns a single function on or off, but on the other hand the compression is really squishy so maybe it's not just just". Yeees. Nice explanation, UC. You're a master of semantics ...

Yeah, the board in your version is completely different from the one in mine.
Now that's gonna be a selling point for people on Reverb/eBay.
Also, I wonder why teej doesn't make the switch a second footswitch or external toggle?
