These were in the NAMM thread already. There will be more hype when they are available, I suppose. It's all good. :snax:

That's fast. They say "shipping in February", but that doesn't always mean the first day of February. :)

If this happened a year ago I'd be way more hyped.

Now that I've already made/played/sold a few Evil Filters, I wouldn't spend that on one, myself.
I didn't care for the fuzz (there wasn't enough control over it, for my tastes) and felt like the filter could use a few upgrades (basically, enough to become a DC Happiness, now that I think about it).
Also, since I have the ED2, I'm not sure whether Micro Dream would be any better other than a smaller footprint.

Still rad, and I'd totally buy them if I didn't already know most of their secrets.

PT2399 delay with set modulation, I assume.
Doesn't look like there's any trimmers in it (though, I've only seen the trace side of the board), and I'm not sure what the modulation chip would be since it doesn't appear to be the same as the one in the ED2, now that I'm looking at it.

Word. Thanks! Doesn't seem worth flipping my Disaster Transport Jr for, which was my main wonder.

The coolest thing with the echo dream 2 was the fuzz imo. If they made that little three knobber with the fuzz I'd be interested, but I can't see buying it the way it is now

anyone like the ghost delay?
echo dream two has the best musical modulation, the MICRO DREAM is simple YET has an INTERNAL trim to increase or decrease feedback thats all....egh...id only get it, for the modulation on the 2 is never completely off...
what has me interested is the filter might be different then what others have made/played, we dont know yet, just if the fuzz is a rehash gated harmonic transformer sounding fuzz, then fuck that...

who knows, after its been out for a while, may be possible to have a custom filter only pedal, sometimes their cool with it if you promise not to tell anyone lol but if you dont act quick the next week they might say we dont do custom today..but ive had it to where months later il get an email saying we can do it now..wanted 75 bucks to take the internal trim on my robot to the outside...was broke..so..

the fuzz on the ed2 wasnt a fuzz for me or at least on mine?...its clearly a dirty boost, for it adds nothing to my signal other than more volume...
one thing i'd like for them to do is, if they had to redo something, redo the reverb machine....its great, but limiting to me...guess i just need another reverb.

..all started with that echo master, I could see the whole pedalboard friendly shit comming, you can stuff it.. & if i see the word micro again or some silly internal trim pot that should be on the outside, i may shit myself with rage. last gasp had that pedal with dip switchs on the fucking out side damnit!
I wanted to know how the apocalypse differs from the waveformer destroyer, as are the same sounds in the apocalypse in the wfd?

That could be related to the chip in yours.
It should sound like a really nasty fuzz (mine's really interesting because the fuzz has a weird glitch-y tremolo effect that's brought on by the LFO).

I wish they'd come out with this again:

It could be based on which IC's they used an when, too.
Which model number/build date do you have?

Mine's #305 from Sept. '13, so fairly early.

If you can use a soldering iron, I'd try pulling out the opamp and putting in a new one (MC33172P).
