Oh geeze, this year I dove head-first and haven't looked back. My list is long, and thinking about it I have no clue how I've afforded even half this stuff, but I made it work somehow. I shed most of my old pedals and got a full new arsenal of magical stompboxes. Edit: after typing the list up, I do know how I afforded all this, and that's because I sold half of it

Best:
Pretty Years has rocked my fucking world this year.
Dwarfcraft/CV connectivity has opened up a whole new world for me creatively.
856/ct5 have also been mind-expanding
Organelle was my first synth, definitely the top swiss-army tool in my arsenal.
Volca FM is the most in-depth dedicated hardware synth I've ever played.
Worst:
- Not the pedal's fault, but my 856 was partially broken on arrival, so after 3 days I shipped it back to Scott, waited a month, and had it shipped back to me Nov 14. The last time it was scanned it was "in transit" from New York to Dallas & never arrived. That was November 18, so I've pretty much accepted one of my favorite pedals is lost in the mail. Trying to be patient as the beaurocratic wheels "search" for my missing package but I have very little hope and thinking about it gives me really heavy boots

Also most certainly still out that $375 which stings.
- TC Triple Delay. Plug & play capabilities on that thing are like a 1/100. I never knew whether I was dialing in a preset or turning on the delay that I'd just edited. Tried the toneprint thing and literally could not tell whether it worked or not. I was very happy to get rid of that thing.
Plans for next year: (honestly don't need these, but GAS never sleeps, and I like trying things out)
-Preordered a Dream Reaper already
-Determined to get a Generation Loss
-Gonna hop on that Dwarfcraft Super Wizard train when those go on sale too
-Lightningwave EVA, most likely
-Volca Sample, perhaps?
-Recover my funds lol
