Stop what you're doing and go see it. It's beautiful. Goddamned amazing.

Still worth watching if you don't really know shit about Star Wars?
i.e. will my girlfriend have any idea what's going on

Going tomorrow morning. Psyched for Donnie Yen in star wars and cautiously optimistic in general.

Just tell her it takes place immediately before the very first movie. Then watch Episode IV right after,it will all make sense.

If you have the option spend the extra to see it in 3D

Really? Normally I'm not too impressed by that. Will try it out with this though

I thought so. There's not much cooler looking than a star destroyer in 3D

The thing that sucks about 3D is that I have to wear my glasses and the 3D glasses on top of eachother, making me look like the biggest fool ever. I'm really excited to go see this though!

Definitely the prettiest SW movie. Really enjoyed it...plot beats were pretty predictable, but there is some blatant fan service that--even though it was kinda heavy-handed--made my hair stand up on end. Also helps a lot with some of the new mythology they're building with the history of the Jedi, &c.
Watching this before Episode IV would be absolutely nuts...
HAN SOLO DIES

3d showings were at bad times so caught it in normal.
Thought it was pretty good, about as good as the last one but nothing special. It kind of lost me towards the end to be honest (can't say more without spoilers...)

Can't wait to go see this one. All the reviews seemed kinda meh but everyone I know loved it. I usually try to wait for the 2nd week or so because me and crowds are bleh.
I know some people that run a smaller theater in town and they always have employee prescreenings of cool shit and then the week after they're like "where were you, dude? we would have let you in" and I want to spin kick them because that's information that's helpful before something happens.

You mean; making you look like the baddest mother effer around?
Ain't nothing beats a 6-eyes.
I'm hoping to watch it in regular but will probably cave in to 3D because of my father/brother. I never think the 3D effects are impressive and it certainly is never worth the glasses or the loss of sharp image, color or brightness.
Nah man. There are few mirrors in a cinema but if it resembles anything like when the sun is out and you're so you need to wear sunglasses over your regular glasses I just know how bad it is. I miss my dorky ass clip-ons, they were the shit

Should I go see it?
