it's kinda weird to me how hot spices can be painful but i still enjoy them (to some degree), especially because i have a new friend who's into shit that's weird to me (suspension...) for enjoying handling the pain.
anyway - spicy food! anybody else into it?
i joined this club called "fuego box" that delivers me three hot sauces every three months.
second batch for me came w/ one w/ carolina reaper in it. i'm fucking terrified, don't know if i'm gonna try a drop of that...

I love spicy foods. The pain that you mention is followed by such a rush of endorphines, I get hiii. ¨
About the carolina - just start with a bit of the tip (wink) and move on up, or cut it into pieces and freeze it and use some of it in stews or currys or whatever.

I draw the line at habanero when I'm actually having a meal. Anything past that and it's just novelty (for me). I love trying different hot sauces though. Not the best selection here, wink wink, santa.

it's not a whole pepper, it's a sauce with that pepper in it.
i'd NEVER do that pepper.
aside from what's in sauces i've never used anything hotter than a habanero when cooking.

Yes yes, me me meee. I'm a spicy boy. Habaneros are my go-to for making chili and curry at home.
I haven't yet messed with anything hotter, but mehbeh someday soon...

Spicy food is awesome. If you want to spice up your baked chicken, before you bake it, stab the crap out of it with a fork. Then let it marinate in the hot sauce before you bake it.

Oh, I get it now - thought the second 'w/' was a typo. If it's just a sauce then go on have a taste. What is the ratio of chili in it?

Don't you also get dry chicken? Or do you wrap it in foil?

Yes on the foil.
I should probably add that my acid indigestion doesn't let me eat this way anymore.

its label doesn't have a ratio, but the company "sam & oliver" have a ranking of MILD - MEDIUM - HOT - VERY HOT and surprising to me they filed it as HOT and not VERY. yikes.

Hell yeah. If it doesn't burn on the way out, it wasn't spicy enough.
