'Going forward' or 'moving forward.' Someone I work closely with says this shit all the time, and I finally called him on it. I thanked him for essentially ruling time travel out...since there is no real possibility of 'going backward.'

Now I am getting locally famous for bitching at this guy for using inane language...everyone is coming up to me and grinning and using it as much as possible like it's cute.

Also: watching Luke Cage on Netflix: 'the streets' really annoys me. As in: 'he grew up on these streets.' Okay.

My boy got a ticket for Jay-walking. How can he be from the streets if he can't walk across them? We ain't got no flying shoes.
