They do get you high, and it's kind of goofy and fun, but the high lasts about half a minute to two minutes. They are absolutely used to relax and loosen your butthole. They were a gay club thing, but like all good things gay people do, straight people started doing them and ruined them. But they're fun and funny and great for good jokes. This thread started because of the spite, hate, rage, and mild apathy thread, and another thread where i brought them up. Sorry, y'all.

From what I understand, Amyl Nitrate is the good one, and legal restrictions have made it near impossible to find. All the brands that used to use Amyl have since switched to other things. If I'm wrong, let me know.

Yeah, so poppers used to be more "pure" but nowadays they're not the same chemical combinations they used to be. You can still find good shit at places, but what's sold legally is different stuffs that ain't as good. I heard legend in one city of places you could still get bottles of the real shit if you knew what/where to look (for). Of course, also different brands put different shit in their shit, or even the same brands have different "flavors" or whatever. i think "Rush" is shit. Hardware is the fucking best.
