several years ago my friend and I were drinking heavily and for some reason bought matching Motorhead shirts. we completely forgot about it afterwards until a week later when I received two Mororhead shirts in sizes Small and Extra Large. and yes, we both still have them.

I got into a bidding war with someone for a pedal in the UK when the £ was super steep against the $$$ and I didn't cognate the conversion rate till I was maxing out in dollars...thankfully the guy I was bidding against came in and sniped at the the last minute...which I was hoping would happen, but I had a day of anxiety of being the highest bidder..."Yes, honey, I just spent $650 on a pedal that I thought I was spending about $375 on..."

I once ordered two death metal t-shirts from Germany and they never arrived in the mail, but it took me about a month and a half to realize what had happened, and by then eBay was no help.

Currently the high bidder on a very affordable price for a nice drum machine. Lots of time left, but i really actually want it, so plz no one else bid.

I actually bundled a Mastodon skateboard deck into a whole bunch of shit from their online store.
Two days later I finally felt normal and good about life again, checked my email and saw the confirmation notice.
Could not even remember doing it.
Had to write some email about how it was a gift for a nephew and he already had one coming in because his sister didn't tell me.
Mastodon's shop people were totally rad about it so that was cool.

I bought a kids keyboard for like $200. It was all vintage or some bs like that. I emailed the seller and said my ex gf bought a bunch of stuff because she had my eBay password.

A guy I know bought a quad bike at like 4am, and then for some reason they HAD to pick it up that day. The quad was in north Wales. My mate lives in Somerset. As the crow flies, it's not a massive distance but, apparently, shitty roads make the drive ridiculous. So he and some other guy, deathly hungover, drove a truck about 10 hours up and down Wales to get this piece of shit quad bike.

Bought a giant ass old leather bible from the late 1800s/early 1900s because apparently I wanted to start a really loud, dissonant old time string/punk band about how everyone was going to hell and sin and such; I wanted to pretend to be a preacher. Thankfully I resold it for a higher price.
