I'm not sure what your purpose is, but I think you're gonna find very little sympathy here regarding this.
I'm sorry you had a very bad experience, but does it really warrant two threads about it?

Boutique makers that sell direct don't really need boxes. Boxes are for stores. What are you going to do with a box for a pedal? Other than include it for someone else who thinks it's really important to have a box when you end up selling it? Did you feel the pedal without a cardboard box was ripping you off for a value of $0.05?
Mark is a cool dude and a really nice guy. He repaired a used Pharaoh I bought that had some noise issues and sent me a free shirt.

Dude....
The likelihood of you being disappointed enough with a BAT pedal not to stand on it (or turn it on and leave it on forever) and warrant flipping it with a box as a selling point is highly unlikely.
As long as it was packaged properly, fucks given should be none.
