Came here to start an ILFSCSEMI thread (south-central/south-east Michigan).

But the Scandies should take it as a compliment that there are so many efforts out there...means they finally did something right.

Im talking about the south eastern united states. The joke was that every other geographical area of the country and even europe have a meet up but the southeast doesnt because theres only myself and wehuntkings in ATL and weve never even met.

Before my time. But it's clear that the EU iteration kickstarted some things. Whether they were (re)kickstarted or not is up for debate.

But yeah this is probably something that seems 'kickstarted' from the perspective of someone who hasn't seen all the other times this has happened, I guess. The same way Blink 182 kickstarted punk, to put it in common terms.
