There's a local kid who keeps beating my gym. Too bad there aren't that many local cliffs

I went on a walk with my son and played it, caught a few Pokemon and he actually walked for quite a while before he decided he was done

I can't battle my friends and I'm already bored with this.

Back to regular Pokemon games.

I have a sweet spawn point right outside my apartment, and a poké stop only 1 min away. As you can tell, I'm fairly lazy

I just want to catch 'em all. Couldn't care less about the gym fights.

People keep making fun of these folks dying and I don't think it's funny in the slightest. Sure it's a dumbass way to go out, but fuck man, they died. We need to be better than making fun of the dead for fucks sake.

Has anybody actually died yet while playing the game?

The dudes in San Diego only had minor injuries. Definitely ok to lol at.

Dodos were fucking hilarious before they got theirs.
Shit doesn't stop being funny because somebody died.
Particularly when acts of grand idiocy are involved.

In this case they were injured, but the principle still stands.

Pretty sure this Pokemon Go thing is a mass extinction event perpetrated against humans by other humans under the guise of self infliction so...

My point was, though, that Dodos were funny, idiots can be funny, they both die, as do we all - sometimes in hilarious manners - so, no point in not getting a giggle in where one is due.

News sources are being gooflers about the whole thing if you ask me. Just because it's popular they feel like they need to talk about it. Whatever, it's a fun game. Nobody reports on all of the love that comes from it. Of course weird shit is going to happen once you get out and about.

I downloaded it to see what the deal is. It's something that could be fun with my kids. I tried it in my neighborhood in the car, just to see how dangerous playing it and driving would be. I had to stop on the side of the street to try and catch a Pokeman. If I hadn't. I would wreck attempting this. That's my fear of it. It's GPS and the locations (gyms and Pokemen) are far enough apart in my area that the only way to catch any is to drive, which is a big NO, NO in Overland Park, KS. Good God. The soccer moms here already drive the biggest SUV's available and put on their make up and eat yogurt while driving (I'm not kidding). The teens are driving daddy's 100k car....yea this is going to get interesting here. I live in the richest area in Kansas (right on the border of Leawood. Half my neighborhood is in Leawood). So these guys are dumb dumbs.
