Does anyone know where I can get a forest green stain? Trying to get a look like the Thurston Moore sig jazzmaster. Also has anyone tried the spray can stew Mac satin stain sealant? I'm not a huge fan of gloss finishes.

I'll be staining a knotty pine tele body.

stumac spray nitro, stumac green dye… don't use their dye with a oil finish [tru oil, teak oil etc] 's reacts really weird and crystalizes

Just saw this thread after I posted mine! I used powder stain mixed with boiling water. It's a swedish brand however so I don't know if it's available where you are

These all look awesome! I picked up some transtint stain, got extra pine blanks, and got the body in. I'm going to start staining once were finished moving in and go from there. I'll keep this thread updated.

Pretty great! Waiting on it to dry but I got the color right. Now all I need to do is clear coat and stain fill it.
