Elvind, prog capes are in short supply in my town and I lack the necessary skills to make my own.
Can I send you money to rectify this or should I dress as a space-captain and find a snazzy hat instead?

I have to be honest here, Pope. I don't actually own a prog cape. I WAS THE OOGLE ALL ALONG.
Synths are self-governed systems, and as such the banks are merely real properties, thus lacking any metaphysical significance. The flute, on the other hand, challenge the claims of historicism by transcending the limits of time and space, and are the real essence of art.

Your loose definition of "system" in coincidence with underlying, albeit not explicitly stated (but present nonetheless through the contrasting of notions), implications of "instrument" and "tool" require further explanation and defence to not be dismantled as reductive.
I will not argue against the properties inherent in the flute's presence on the stage of space and time, but I'll instead be arguing for the inclusion of all instruments as potentiates for the position(s) in question.
