Impossibilities that happened to you

What up homies! So I'm bored, feeling like shit because I am 4 weeks out from a show and just want to have some fun. You know. Like talking to you guys. That kind of fun.
I was wondering if anyone has had anything they previously believed to be outright impossible happen to them before? Or something that statistically did not make sense and still occurred. It can be anything.
For example.
My wife got pregnant after having a mirena for 3 years. They are 99% effective. Somehow, it shifted inside of her. My third daughter is an outright miracle (if you believe in those). She was born on a 1% chance.
Another thing is this. I had a vasectomy almost three years ago I believe. After having one, I waited, got test was in the clear spermy wise. My wife currently has another mirena but she's using it for hormone balance and not birth control. I've been on HRT (hormone replacement therapy) for two years almost which is supposed to make you sterile. Well, she's over 10 days past her period. She has not had a late one since she was last pregnant. She took a test and it was negative, but we still are not certain. If she's pregnant, that would be INSANE. There is a .5% chance of a pregnancy after a vasectomy. UNLESS the vas deferens reconnects via a granuloma, which I just so happen to have and I ignored...for a year and a half... I didn't want to be cut again. But because of this, there is a chance that my wife could be pregnant.
So those are my two impossibilities. One of the really is one that happened, but I"ll know if the other one did this week.
Tell me friends, what's something nutso that's happened to you?

Damn thats crazy dude!
Not really at all on that level, but im getting married to the same woman I've been dating since high school, had a kid with same woman back in high school, was still able to graduate, have a job, raise my son, stay in my band and stay on her parents nice list. Kid is now awesome and life is good.
I feel like statistically thigs should be darker, but I aint looking a gift camel in the mouth, they spit.
Keep us updated on your situation jwar!

HRT isn't birth control. It doesn't make you reliably sterile. Lots of transwomen accidentally sire babies after that mistake.

When I was but a wee lad, I was wrongly diagnosed with leukemia (mixed up blood tests). I spent about a week in hospital getting treatment I clearly did not need before the doctors realized that they had fucked up. I still think about that kid who got the 'all clear' and possibly ended up far worse because of the error they made.

Pssh, that's socialized medicine for you. In America, they would've diagnosed you both as positive so they could charge twice as many people for treatment.

WOW! UC that's crazy!! I've heard of shit like that before but always thought it was bad rumors. Man, glad you're ok. The treatments are fucking brutal!
I know it's not a miracle for real, but to me it was. That's why I said it. LOL.
The odds of having a child after a vasectomy and being on HRT though are really low. I almost want to say there's no way she's pregnant. It just isn't possible. But only time will tell. Well that and a visit to the doc. lol

She's probably not preggo, dude, though I understand why you'd go to that place. The ute is a mysterious and powerful organ.
I had a tree fall on a car I was driving. Sunny July day, no real wind, no discernable rot in the tree, no lightning strike...nothing. Heard a weird crunching noise, then all the glass in the car exploded around me. Just fell on my car while I was driving at about 45mph. It crushed the back half of the car down to about three feet--sheared the roof in half less than a foot from my head. I have no memory of getting out, or of what happened immediately after. I was in a park, and the first thing I remember was a park ranger dude shaking me out of a stupor.
Oh, and it was a work car owned by the hospital I was working for as a driver (as a courier). I was off my route, which was not sanctioned, so I could grab some food. The big boss came down...somehow, I talked my way out of that one, and kept the job for another year or two. My mom always talked about how 'lucky' I was...I tell her that lucky people win the lottery, not narrowly avoid death in freak accidents.

Wow! That's a crazy ass story!!! See that's the kind of stuff that I like reading! That's a freak accident that you came away from, which is amazing!
Oh and she took another test. It's negative. So 90% sure it's not a pregnancy, which actually is a bit scarier IMO. I hope she's not developing some fucked up hormone problems.

Haha, yup. Also, not haha. I am curious to hear how HRT is treating you Jwar? Are you on spiro? That shit made me piss constantly. Good luck with it.

I have the most boring and milquetoast life ever. I have nothing to contribute to this thread.
