I grew up in NC and went to school at NC State. And now I live in Jersey.

Most of the venues and outdoors stuff has already been posted and there are some good suggestions there.

You should check out the North Carolina Museum of Art and Raleigh Times is a kind of cool bar/restaurant downtown. I like going there midday to avoid the drunks. You should probably hit up Cookout too, just to say that you've had the experience.

If you decide to go to a show or get bored you can PM me. I'm kind of awkward and don't drink but might be down to hang out for a bit.

Had a good time here, would have liked to see more spots and hang out with ya'll but time was not of the essence.
