trying to figure out where the sudden urge to sunlion comes from???

maybe fuzz face??
maybe graphics... like the OG magic card art..

are we yay or nay to analogman over here? never played one of their pedals but a friend had a peppermint fuzz once and i thought it sounded cool.

i can't get that taste of guy with "white coiley cable" playing tasty licks out of my head when i think of analogman pedals. not a good thing

Analogman builds good shit, it just may not always be tailored to ILF ears. :idk:

yeah he seems solid and with a great reputation. it's interesting how directed the market is, and how it's very very hard to find a clip of anyone playing anything truly inspiring (at least for me...) with the pedals.

this is pretty awesome... gets really fucked up towards the end  but the audio is not great i feel like it could be a different pedal and i wouldn't even know

^That's UG's demo. Maybe he'll let you borrow it to try it out.

Yeah, I often have trouble finding any demo I can relate to with pedals like this.

stripes, this ain't your style?

I REALLY like his sunlion and king of tone. His fuzzface has got a nice rich thickness while also sounding very balanced. plus he was nice to deal with from what I recall. i'm pretty sure you can't change their order though, that would have been a nice touch. I like that loop I made, but yeah that was just iphone/potato quality.

Had a Sun Face once. Great pedal. Didn't oscillate, so I didn't keep it, but if I was in the market for a straight fuzz it would be high on the list.

Analogman smashes the fuck out of more traditional circuits. Like SMASHES THE FUCK out of them. I've never heard one of his pedals and thought it sounded even remotely average. If I was playing more straight down the line music I reckon I'd have a bunch. So nice.

i think i'm really interested in his pedals because everything about them is supposed to be very top shelf, great sound, great quality, but I really want to apply them to music not typical to what they were made for/what most people use them for. like i was so happy to see UG's demo... cuz it seems like they just sound awesome and can totally be used for all kinds of stuff!!

I have the following Analog.man pedals on my board: beano boost, Juicer, King of Tone V4, and Astro Tone.

They're fairly decent. Haha.

how big is the difference between the low gain and standard gain transistors? like, will the low gain one still get me decently fuzzy or is it really low gain?

Not to be all ILF about this but if you want a fuzz face type deal, get a Team Awesome Fuzz Machine and save about $500.

For real. It's not just for bass. And it does great fuzzy low gain stuff too.
