Put an amp up on eBay. Guy buys it but then sends me an message that his credit card was out of date so he had to get a loan from the bank....and if that failed he would borrow money from his parents. Says he really really wants the amp.

I tell him I'm uncomfortable with it and cancel the sale. He says he understands and would do the same.

I relist it yesterday and the guy bought it again today. This time he paid right away.

I don't know how I feel about this. The guy paid the full buy it now price plus shipping but it's all very strange plus he has literally 1 feedback. What does ilf think I should do here?

Insure it, complete with photographic evidence, weight, etc. before shipment. Save EVERYTHING.

But, if you're paid, I'd ship the amp.

A bunch of people are just scatterbrained morons, but if this guy is trying to pull a fast one I'd want to have all the proof on hand if/when a dispute comes up.

Good advice. It's a 550 dollar amp so it isn't super cheap

On top of the good advice above -- take a video with your phone demonstrating it working, non crackling knobs, etc and email it to yourself, or even to him as well for a little extra proof.
