Point me towards a pedal to replace this

Got this sweet little piece of gear and I love it, especially love the big knobs, and I really love it as a boost/drive for the sounds I'm doing. But I would like the pedal version basically. What should I be looking at that is similar? Open to DIY starting points as well.

"924le Analog Saturator consists of two stage JFET circuit. First stage is gain stage and second is biased to limit signal on one rail and add even order (triode like) harmonic content."

Um, even order harmonics scream harmonic percolator to me.

I have no idea if that's what you would use, though.

That maybe? Three JFET stages...but they aren't consecutive so not sure if you can get a similar sound dialed in on it...cuz what you posted sounds awfully clean and subtle.

Or the Karma Suture pedal is even order harmonics...might be similar.

I dunno, looks like there's plenty of room to drill a bypass switch into it to me.

Yeah, I've wondered about a harmonic percolator

Seems like an interesting pedal regardless. And yeah the saturator is pretty subtle, but at the same time I can have 3-4 dirt pedals after it and can still hear it cut through when I bring up the harmonics

Based on the harmonic percolator too, guess that makes sense!

I would also like something a little more rugged, and potentially in a smaller enclosure.

Thanks guys

Yeah there are at least a couple Percolator-y pedals on the market right now, I believe.

Get one with a diode lift switch or knob if you're looking for more crunchy instead of fuzzy tones.

It doesn't look as nearly as cool as that 924le but my answer: DOD FX10. It doesn't drive per se but is a huge shot in the arm for anything comes after it.

what about a Fuck or Mini? it's not done in the same manner but it's a two stage JFET circuit.

I'm so wishing I had jumped on the sepukku version that popped up on reverb a few weeks ago.

Was curious about that one actually.

Currently have both, and love them. Definitely similar with the JFET but the harmonic thing is subtly different, more subtle I think

Thanks all
