If I was rich as fuck and had a gigantinormous house I'd dedicate one room to this...
love the concept & the sounds!

I hoped this would be a sequel to birds with arms.
Still cool though.

Gives new meaning to a shitty guitar.
I'll see myself out.
But seriously, cool piece. I love sound art pieces.

One of my favorits sound pieces is called Microtonal Wall by Tristan Perich.
It was in a hallway. 1,500 speakers playing a 1 bit tone of various frequencies across a 4 octave range. From afar, all you heard was a gentle wash of pink noise. But as you got closer you'd start to hear tones that would sweep as you moved.
Here's a video of it, but as with most sound art, it's hard to experience without being at the location.

This is awesome. We need to move away from humans playing guitars and more towards other species playing them. Next up: scolopendrid centipedes.

totally ace!
OK, now this would be how you get to the bird/guitar room in the gigantinormous house....
for the full soround sounds, speakers in both walls, ceiling & floor of the corridor, maybe bigger speakers at the beginning so you could get deeper octaves with nice pressure....
the guitar room would have butterflies, too.....
and of course there's plenty of guest rooms for all y'all

Found this video the other day. I love stuff like this. I would like to move into stuff like this - incorporating field recording with the noise I make.
This guy apparently is having another collaboration performance in Philly on 6/11. Ima try to go to that.
I don't seem to be able to imbed this stupid vimeo video (the content is not stupid, just the format).
