I'm a noob, so help me with your wisdom, riding a fuji nevada 1.7, share your tips, how to take care of the ballz, stories 
In. I work at an LBS and I've been a fixie-hipster for about 2 years, and last summer I fell in love with MTB. I'm gonna buy a Specialized Fuze when my tax return rolls in. 650+ is an insanely fun wheel size.
Other than that, all my coworkers think that baggies + gloves + clipless + eyewear makes for a pretty good kit. My cycling mentor told me he learned everything he knows about mountain biking from eating shit, so maybe start there?
