i'm giving this shiz it's own thread. partially because i'm lovin' it, partially because i do have some issues with it, partially because i hope i'm not the only one who could use some help & info here & there.
i'm totally stuck on a miscellaneous quest right now. anybody helped barney rooks turn on his 5 turrets in salem?

nope, haven't done that yet. I stopped last night after the quest with the dj for diamond city radio and the owners of the bar in diamond city. 5 more hours of work and I can go home and play!

i haven't done that yet. have spent most of my time just exploring instead of missions, until now.
if you haven't yet, start building stuff. sanctuary will want you to. it speeds up level progress like mad.
awesome thing about salem & that crap i can't finish though - sniper rifle. finally.

Nah, I asked for it. What would suck is if she accidentally bought Tony Hawks Pro Skater 5 instead.

im about 32 hours in and up to level 19. I have done a few missions but ive spent most of the time running around. sanctuary is thriving. I scrapped all of the wrecked houses and the rest of the junk laying around. I haven't given them a generator yet but hey...
ive had the dog with me the entire time. there are a few other characters I could have with me but the dog is such a bad ass!

I started Sunday. Got about 4 hours in, I won't probably get to play till this sunday again. i think during vacation I'll be really sinking a ton into it. I've mainly just been messing in Sanctuary scrapping and I haven't started building but I started looking at tips and what not on what would be best. I would be playing it when I get off work but I just started up a new band and we jammed yesterday and will be today and tmwr I'll be jamming with someone else then I'm off to Atlanta to witness Blind Guardian

My GF wants Fallout 4 so bad, I'm broke and need to spend my money on other stuff so I'm waiting until there's a GOTY edition or one with all the dlc in it.
We've been playing Fallout: NV to cope.

you are going to be waiting quite awhile till there is a GOTY edition. I mean as in years.

Is this on the PC or Console? the PC version is WAY cheaper man.
Enjoying this game loads, i'm mainly using Piper as a companion because i'm a sucker for a pretty lady. I think a better tutorial about crafting etc would have been helpful also the BOS missions are excellent :-)

I want to play Fallout 4 so bad, but I don't have a next gen console or a computer that can run it well. I'll probably pick one up after the holidays and inevitable price drop.
