I am utterly confused and fascinated by the usernames here. Why do you use the one you do?

It was the comic book I was working on (well, will again)...then my band took the name for lack of a better one and the name has been kinda with me ever since...the character kinda got stuck as part of me. (There is a lordgalvar play/script that almost got put on once too...but yea haha)

One of my favourite bands, plus the it's ironic, because I'm fairly okay-looking but totally awkward with girls.

I think it caused me to change my name.

Ages ago (probably around 2000) I wanted to buy the "oscillator.com" domain name for my website but it wasn't available. So I got the french version, oscillateur. Which I much prefer now, anyway . Used it as an "artist" name for a concert only once and settled on "boring machine" for electronic music stuff quickly. But I've basically been using oscillateur everywhere for most online stuff.

It's a "word" I made up. I like to make up "words".

There is a scene where the bad guys attack a female sheep herder and they slaughter all the sheep and she was holding a lamb and the main dude grabbed it from her and choked it to fucking death sticking his fingers into it's throat... also this was back before the whole no animals were harmed while making of this film.... aka to film this they just had the guy actually do that to a lamb. Stayed with me from then on and I use it everywhere for everything. It's a reference to that guy.

It's short for Gonad the Barbarian.

That was my nickname in high school 20 years ago.

Not because I am a Cimmerian. But rather back then I used to refer to my "nads" too often, according to a few friends.

It's a very fucking stupid nickname. It was very fucking stupid when I was 16. And I'm now 36 years old for fuck's sake.

Who cares? It stuck.

abbreviated version of a previous username that reference Coheed & Cambria.
A lot of people referred to me as kbit anyways.

I like it better aesthetically and it's technological implications are cool.

I was watching Robot Chicken and saw the Bitch Pudding sketch for the first time at the same time I discovered the site. At the time I was just a lurker, but when the time came to reveal my ugly mug, I knew what I had to do.
