Reverb.com question/dilemma

Hey guys! I wanted to know if anyone has any answers.
So I'm selling my home and I actually just sold my laser machine yesterday.

Anyway, I had to sell the Dingwall I had just bought a month or so back to pay for my cabinets being painted (this was prior to knowing I'd be able to sell my laser). Anyway, yesterday I did sell it, got money but it's tied up. I asked my wife if I could purchase a new bass via Paypal's Bill Me Later. I had found a Dingwall AB2 on Reverb.com which I loved and for a great deal! She said ok, I made an offer then realized that the seller does not take paypal! I didn't even know that was an option! I immediately contacted them and they declined and countered my offer. They told me they would try to get paypal. Then they wrote back and said "I have paypal now". So I thought "fuck yea!!" and accepted their offer. I go to check out and there is no Paypal payment option?? So either they A)lied or B)didn't add it as a payment option. I didn't even think to look before I accepted their offer, I just hit accept because they'd messaged me that.
So now I have a 1900 dollar purchase sitting there I can't pay for unless they can change their payment option.
Has this ever happened to anyone? Does anyone know if they can even add it? I contacted Reverb but it's the weekend so I won't here back until Monday. I also contacted the seller several times, but I'm assuming they just haven't had a chance to reply (I hope).
The worst part is I literally have the money but like I said it's tied up. So it was no big deal to do it this way, but now I don't know what to do.

I think Skully wrote about a similar situation in the PayPal or Reverb thread.

If you are trying to do it from your phone for whatever reason bill me later doesn't show up as an option. It should show up from a desktop though. I went through that shit on eBay.
I can't remember exactly but they should be able to change the listing to accept PayPal, or worst case cancel the sale, relist it using PayPal as an option, and then you can buy it again. I had a buyer flake on me one for an amp and I was able to cancel the sale

Yes they are somewhat. They just told me they don't accept bill me later??? I said "really because I've used it in the last month there". I'm mega confused.

This happened to me recently too and basically the money stays in limbo until their account gets verified and they accept the purchase. Kind of a pain in the ass, especially if they take forever to get it sorted out like my guy did.

OMFG Paypal is stupid! They denied me! LOL!!! I have credit and they straight denied my purchase! hahaha! So I got on a desk top and tried again, about to call them and bitch them the fuck out and it worked! Maybe the mobile site doesn't let you do bigger purchases via the app? I don't know. Weird as fuck.
So lesson one. Reverb.com does not even know how they take payments lol, so don't listen to their dumbasses. Lesson two, I'm a dumbass as well and should have double checked that the dude had actually added the shit!
I think he's from a different country from his replies (Not sure where) because it seems like there's a language barrier. Like he was one line responding and not using correct grammatical language. Or he could just not know how to type as well...not sure.
I'm glad I got to use Paypal though. I have no clue how much protection Reverb's bs offers. So I wanted to use Paypal regardless. It seems like they may be pushing away from them? I'm not sure, but I got that vibe.
OH! Well!! Got a Dingwall AB2 with a wenge neck and nice top for 1900! That's a fucking steal!!!

Something similar happened to me when I tried to buy a bass off reverb. Had the money just like you, just tied up so I was going to use PayPal Credit. Made them an offer, they accepted, went to checkout and no PPC option at checkout. My heart sunk. Thought it was a phone option problem so I tried it on the desktop, still the same issue.
So my theory is: if a seller accepts that Affirm financing thing as a payment method, it makes PPC not an option, even if they accept PayPal. Like Reverb struck a deal with Affirm to do that. Just my theory.
I ended up using that Affirm shit, got approved for a shit APR but paid it off in like 10 days (like I said I had the money, just tied up) and only paid like $7 in interest
