Going in 1 month and I have no idea what should I look for besides some Kurt Cobain stuff.
Something cool in Vancouver maybe? Not sure if I can cross the border though.
Thanks

The underground tour is cool. Can check out utilikilts why you wait for the next tour.
My nephew loves the music museum. Pike's Place. Seahawks game? Go Orca watching..
It is kind of just a clean, nice big city. Not the neatest, most entertaining place in the world but it looks really nice (I'm going up there in a month too to visit my family...they live in Anacortes). My wife and I spent a few days there to get away from the family and got bored pretty quick.
The Islands are neat to look around. Some good maritime junk stores in Anacortes. Deception Pass is cool.
My parents kind of said Vancouver is just a big city...nothing that neat about it (and I have head that from other people too...one guy from there). No offence to Vancouver..I would probably choose living there over LA anyday (but would probably rather live in Seattle).
Personally, I like Olympia the most of all of them. Just seemed like a nice place to live...but I'll ask my parents what they think is fun to do up there.

Well… really for Kurt Cobain stuff you need to end up in grays harbor county and while you are out there you might want to drive through Forks to check out true sparkly… soul crushing depression and look at the faded twilight posters in the windows… Depending on which way you go you either can go thourgh Port Townsend and see some cool old boats and hippies or go through Tacoma and Olympia.. Tacoma as gotten a lot better over the years and down town isn't bad, in Oly we are still dealing with our hippy problem, they still have to strong a hold but punk and non open mic things are on the rise a little.. if you do end up in the soggy lands out by Aberdeen the Hoh Forest is badass with badass giant trees.

Experience Music Project museum. It is majorly lame and wonderful at the same time. The collection is amazing, the edifice and vibe of the place is terrible.
Pike Place Market, oldest (continually operating) public market in the US.
If the weather is nice walk on a state ferry for a round trip, open air decks give you a cool view of the area.
Some free cool views of Seattle; Kerry Park, Jose Rizal bridge, the water tower at Volunteer Park (a broken view.) the Conservatory (exotic plants, small collection) at Volunteer Park is also a good place to get your zen on. Grab the bench and have a chill. Used to be free now it costs a few bucks :/
I've heard the underground tour is good but have never done it. In fact most of the tourist stuff I haven't done, but I've lived here my whole life and can come up with more stuff if you need.

go to Golden Gardens Park in Ballard if you like pretty beaches that are too cold to swim in.
