Fixing shoes

I tend to wear my shoes till they fall apart/become unwearable. My current favorite pair is wearing on the bottom at the heels - sole is worn through. Is there some kind of rubber one can buy that can be melted or something to fuse with the remaining good/sound portion of the sole?

These shoes are too comfy to retire just yet.

+1 on shoe goo.
Pro-tip: put a layer on the heels of new shoes and reapply as needed.

shoe goo is good stuff,
Should do what you want.

If you want to apply new tread, something like E6000 will do that

You like skate shoes?
What size are you?

Depends on the shoe: 12.5-13.

Cool, I ordered some shoe-goo and some sole rubber material off eBay. Gonna make a gooey sandwich

Those fuckers are so expensive. I have like $400 in maintenance that I've been putting off.

Should have just added heels so the basketball coach could kick you off the team.
