It's really cloudy here and I'm fucking pissed.

That sucks, it for once is not cloudy here,it's really bright and has a blue halo the actual eclipse was hidden by the tree line here though...

Stayed up till 5am to watch it, and it was amazing. Not a cloud in sight, giant red supermoon

Fucking responsibilities have left me with a "normal" circadian rhythm (is that really the word? Like, now I wake up early and fall asleep early), so I fell asleep before I could observe the epicness.

On a side note, I remember seeing lunar eclipses a bunch of times when I was a kid, but I don't recall anyone ever referring to it as a "blood moon" until maybe 5 years ago. When and why did that start? Eclipses are cool enough as they are, I don't get why we need to come up with weird names for everything.
