A portable, rechargeable, power supply for pedals? Like, so you could use them in an outdoor setting more easily? I'm asking for a friend who wants to busk.

pedaltrain volto
There is a joyo or something one too. There was also one by Sanyo (Pedal Juice) I think that MF was giving away with Boss pedals (I think it is discontinued)
Also, there are pretty easy schematics on the internet.

Dang beat me on pedal juice
Could probably use like black and decker/dewalt/ryobi tool batteries (9.6v ones) and make an adapter.

These guys answer "yes" to a pretty hardcore level:
http://www.vguitarforums.com/smf/index. ... n#msg96962 You could do some pretty intense boards off of some of the battery packs they discuss.

by Dr. Sherman Sticks M.D.
the batteries that do DC output are called laptop batteries.
i have one by ravpower and another by tekkeon that have selectable voltage and was about $30.
battery life is insane (like 16+ hours running a synth or sampler) and it was much cheaper than the devices they market specifically for pedals (cough pedal juice cough) at least last time i checked.. they come with a bunch of different sized plugs.
since they are made for laptops they are positive center polarity. so i just stick a reverse polarity one spot adapter on it and now i've got negative center plug.
its come in handy a lot.

I'd say the Volto. I was gonna get one as it has had my attention since I switched to a PT-nano. Never needed it through because I daisy chained everything and use my tuner as a power brick.
