I dont know what to do. A guy from Aus bought my Rat and paid 115 for it. I sent it on the 28 of last month and nothing has arrived. He was away on vacation and it easily could have been stolen from his house. Tye tracking was only good when it left the states. He has called customs and they dont know either. Ive beem to the post office and they cant look it up. I already spent the money on another pedal and i sent it so im trying to figure it out without a refund. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Iunno man, that sounds rough. Is there any way the AUS post can confirm they received it? If they received it and it was delivered I feel like it's out of your hands :idk:

Sidebad: Taos is fucking awesome.
Is there any kind of supportive music scene in your area?

Taos is tge best most mellow beautiful fucking place in the states but as far as music goes unless your into country "modern folk" or Edm nope. Move here and lets start a cramps cover band and shake it up a bit. Haha

Was the pedal supposed to arrive before he went on vacation?

He never said he was going on vacation. I only know he was gone because i wrote him two weeks after i sent to see if it arrived because he owed me for shipping and he never wrote me back for a while then told me he was on vacation. I dunno know what to think of it. It just sucks because i cant track it.

But yeah. If he told me he was going on vacation i woulnt have shipped it because i wouldnt have anyone ship me anything while i was on vacation. I dont want to refund someone that wasnt careful with stuff. I shipped a vintage rat and then be loss of the money too.

Yeah, then it's on him. You can't be held responsible if there's nobody home to receive it.

Who buys a pedal and then just goes away on vacation?

I would've asked to not have it shipped until I got back.

(We're not talking about HorseyBoy are we?)

I dont know if its horsieboy. His name is Lance on Reverb but i dont blame him either. I just know i sent a legit sweet lm308 rat to him and he was on vacation and now wants to know where it is. I just hope it shows up at my mailbox and i can refund him.

Yeah, I hope it shows up too. Good luck.

That's not Horsey.

I was just asking because he's Australian and on vacation right now. It'd be out of character for Horsey to order a pedal and then go away though.

a month seems like a long time but maybe it could be stuck in the post somewhere? especially if he lives regionally
ive never had anything take longer than 3 weeks (almost always 14-6 days)

only had one pedal lost on my way to me
while aus post is pretty useless i wouldnt usually expect the package to be stolen (idk about the area he lives in though)
BUT if he was away i would say its kind of his responsibility to at least let a neighbor know he was expecting something and to collect his mail

You can prove it left the states. Rest is out of your hands.
