Honest Question: Is Digitech's userbase, like, significantly dumber than average? It seems like every awesome pedal they make gets discontinued because no one buys it.

It seems like their lines of lower-end multi-effects puts them mostly on the radar of beginners or people who don't care too much, and decidedly out of the purview of sound experimenters and tone junkies. I also think that the perception of Digitech is that they are a large corporate entity, rather than the reality revealed in that interview that they're actually just 2! dudes who are beneath the umbrella of such; again reinforcing that negative view for people who prefer "boutique" pedals.

Not only are Digitech only 2 dudes, but one of those dudes is also the entirety of DOD. Fucking insane. That was an awesome interview.

Sign'd. I'd fucking LOVE a modern Space Station, I use it constantly in most of my originals.

I took one apart and painted one chrome once. I tried to talk the dude out of it but he insisted I do it. I joked that I needed to bake the paint and he bought me a toaster oven.

It didn't look very good (and I didn't bake the plastic). That was the legendary, holy grail pedal in my town around 15 years ago. Everyone thought it was the greatest thing (and the DMM, of course).

Hey guys!

I created a petition last night due to watching the PedalsAndEffects video interview of Tom Cram, head of Digitech/DOD etc. In it, he mentions that the Bass Whammy was updated due to the fact that someone created a petition and got around 2,000 signatures. I think a lot of us would love to see the Space Sation redone and affordable so that we all have a chance to get our hands on this weird but awesome noise maker.
