I just listened to this. Sounds fabulous and I don't even like reverb.

Because delay is better. Reverb is only better when playing surf music.

Either way, I think the SoaringTortoise caveman reverb sounds great.

I agree. Delay is better. But I think reverb sounds good on other stuff besides surf music. Like Gregorian Chant or Spaghetti Western themes.

Thanks Chank. I don't feel like I have to hide my true thoughts anymore. haha
Love reverb in surf, but that is about it.

I'm not totally against reverb in other styles of music. It has its place. Generally, though, I prefer sounds as dry as a Spaghetti Western landscape.

I sat down with the Stooges' "Fun House" today after a long break and guess I'd forgotten how much reverb is on the guitar for a lot of the songs, but man, it totally works for that too. Lots of dank springy ping all over "Down on the Street" and others.

I was a bit harsh...reverb is cool when it is natural (i.e. from a room) and it has it's place. Delay is fun, and I much prefer it to reverb (I still think that 90% of the time surf is where it's at), but if I never had to have them again, that is cool. haha...just don't like playing in washes of it...
I checked out that vibrato a while ago. I think it sounds really nice and it looks awesome. Really freaking awesome (would of said something earlier but was overwhelmed finding out I wasn't the only not-reverb guy haha (so dramatic

))

Ha, me being in the same sentence as gearmandude is kinda funny.
If I could play surf, that would be all I play...but it actually requires skill so....not gonna happen.

I guess that leaves you Chankgeez. Hows about coughin' some of those Reverb Sucks picks.
