Bought a 3DS not too long ago and I've been playing all the new pokemanz. A little smash brothers too. Does anyone else here play?

I was playing a Blue ROM a couple months ago. I kind of forgot about that...I don't have the patience I did as a child...that's weird, isn't it?

I eventually play every iteration, though I typically stop playing 4-5 badges in now just because I've played Pokemon more than enough times to get the overall idea. SoulSilver was the last one that really got me.

I skipped the DS ones because I never had a DS and they looked crap anyway (except the Gold/Silver remakes, I'd like to try those). I liked X&Y and the 3rd gen remakes but they felt kind of short and easy.

Tried replaying Red a couple of years ago. Didn't work out - when I was a kid, mindlessly walking around and training my pokemen was fun, now it was just repetitive.

I love pokemon so goddamn much. It's weird, I just can't get sick of it, although it has got to the point where normal games of versions I've already played are boring because I've already used all the pokemon I love the most in past runs. So that's where challenges come in! Currently replaying emerald for what must be the 10th time with an all water team, it's a lot of fun.

Need to get myself a DS since I've never played any of the games past Gen IV

Nuzlocke or bust. Self made nostalgia.

I'm about to start over my Sapphire and do a Nuzlocke run with this extra rule: "Banning Poké Balls entirely, any Pokémon obtained must be either given to the player or hatched from an Egg."

All the gift Pokemon in Sapphire are fairly bad or come too late and at too low a level to be useful.

That's pretty brutal! Normal nuzlocke runs are fun but daaaang.
