Tried to find a band video, and there's a bunch of stuff with the same name but none of it where from a band.

Triend to search autolux and sorted by date to see if there's some new uploads of old shows and all i get is auto luxury cars

tried to find a full movie and then are 5,034,234 of videos of it, but it just a link for some kind of click spam bots

it's that i'm getting old, or perhaps i'm not so cool by robot/spiders/search engines standards

imagine in 3 years what a pain it will be, when you want to watch something and had to spend 4 hours clicking next

I haven't had any problems like this unless it's just something that uses pretty common words/phrases.

Yep. If I search for my exact channel name it doesn't turn up on the first page but other crap does.

That happens if it's a smaller channel such as mine (more gear than talent), but do a search for "nano POG" and my video comes up (apparently not many demos dedicated to this pedal).

it's a pain in the ass but i normally can find what i want

YouTube has always sucked.

It just sucks more now.

Yeah, happens to my vids too, but I still think it's odd when I search for that exact search term, and none of the higher rated hits include that exact term.

I think we're at the point where search results for Google and YouTube are less about relevancy for the searcher
and more about selling shit.
