Here's another really funny show that I'm enjoying. We've got two more episode to watch of this first season. I missed the movie, when it came out in 2001, but we watched it before we got started on the (current) show. Gonna file this one, with Other Space, in my "favorite new comedies" category.

Yeah, some of the actors have aged better than others. But, I think it is cool that they got so many of them back together, all these years later. And, Coop's hair, shirt, and hat are classic!

I actually think I like the movie better, but the show is really growing on me.

I haven't seen the movie, watched the first episode of the show because it was advertised on netflix and the cast list is nuts. Wasn't at all impressed. Is the movie better, and does the show get any better?

I only watched one episode of this and I wasn't crazy about it either, but I loved the movie. Maybe the show will grow on me, but it seemed like they were all trying way too hard for me to really enjoy it.

Paul Rudd in the movie is incredible. Scared to watch this!

It's on my list because of Amy Poehler. Haven't seen the movie.

It gets better as you go. Like I said, I still favor the movie. However, the show is catching up. I can see how this kind of humor is not for everybody. But, if you enjoyed the movie, it is worth it to watch the show.

And DD, Michael Cera is also in the show.

I'm not gonna watch the series, but everyone who hasn't seen the movie needs to right now… and Brain Candy too … and Bubble Boy :poke:

Big fan of the movie. Looking forward to watching the show. Showalter, though... what happened, man?

Like the movie. Didn't like the show. If all the actors are fourteen years older (some extremely noticeably so), then why make it a prequel? Why not a followup? Seemed ridiculous (not in a good way).

Its supposed to be ridiculous. Once you have people in their thirties playing sixteen and seventeen year olds i think age really goes out the window

Go on and watch it, Chank. I actually thought the series was better than the movie, and I really like the movie. :snax:
PS If you do like this, "Childrens Hospital" is another must.
