What, NOOOOOO. I only started to appreciate Yes since last year. Here's my favourite song from them.

RIP. Just rewatched Yessongs last night. Such a talented guy, sad to see him go.

Probably one of my 5 biggest influences. His bass tone on The Yes Album and Fragile is simply filthy and rocked my lame teenage ass when I first heard it.

This. And now I really do have to make the CS pedal I'd been considering.

Literally just hearing this now. RIP. So weird--Saturday night, out of nowhere, I had the urge to put on Fish Out of Water. Always admired his playing; so distinctive, I never tried to emulate it...has to be accounted a major bass influence.

My friend that was pretty good friends with Chris Squire is pretty torn up about it. It was on his birthday too. Been seeing a bunch of tributes to him all week. I'm not at all a Yes fan, but I still respect the guy. Really sad.

RIP.

Yeah, I always wanted to hear him in a different context--he was always by far the most interesting aspect of that band for me...he went so fast....
