Wow I've never seen this before. The demo video and the website description have me super interested though.

Wow-good for you; I wasn't brave enough. Hope it all goes smoothly, except the inevitable glitchiness at the end....

I did some research beforehand, and everything about Zen Market seemed to be pretty legit, with fairly good reviews. I got my EMS tracking notice as well, so it's only a matter of time now (he says, rubbing his glitchy little hands together).

What is Zen Market?
And the Super Flutter looks really cool. "Zen Market" is the only place to get one?

Zen Market, and Tenso, are Japanese buying services for outside markets. The Super Flutter is, for the time being, only available on Japanese Amazon, and doesn't ship out of Japan. This is where Zen Market comes in. They act as a proxy buyer. For a three dollar fee per purchase, you can browse the Japan only sites, pick what you want to buy, and they buy it for you. It get's delivered to their warehouse, and then they forward it to you. They offer several shipping options, and for the most part, all are reasonable.
According to the S3N website, they're supposed to be up on Ebay soon for international sale, but I didn't feel like taking a chance on missing out on this baby (or waiting

).

The Micro, and v1 are indeed discontinued. The v2 is what has replaced both.

Got it today. Sorry, I have to gush before I put the video together.
It is one cool piece of kit. It's like they isolated the slow down/speed up section of the XP-300 (flutter), but added repeats capability to it as well (cutter). Or, you can blend both together. Either mode (or both) can be tap tempoed. The rate knob does double duty, acting as a normal LFO rate pot, or as a divisions selector when in tap tempo mode. The sweep in this mode is divided into four sections; eighth notes, triple sixteenth notes, sixteenth notes, and triple thirty-second notes. The up/down knob does what it says, sending your flutter/cutter up, or down. The noon position is neutral, and the further you go either way, the further up or down it will take your signal. From a turn table that has had it's plug pulled slow down, all the way to Alvin and the Chipmunck's speed up land. All on the fly, so stepping on it momentarily while playing can really warp the sound, or solo run. Or, hit a final power chord, and then "pull the plug on the record player".
You can also program all the modes, having two choices of operation for each mode. In flutter mode, you can choose between retaining the ability to play over the flutter, or having the input muted while it flutters. Hard or soft attack for the cutter. Polarity reversal for the expression pedal input. I think an expression pedal will be de rigeur for this puppy, and luckly, I have a gutted Crybaby that will fill in nicely.
The instructions are only in Japanese, but between OCR, translation, and putzing, I've got it figured out. I'll have to publish an English version, since the S3N guys barely speak the lingo, so I don't see any detailed instructions coming any time soon.
Hen's Tooth Cafe vid coming soon.

Demo of the S3N Super Flutter v.2, from Solid State Supernova. A small Japanese company, this is the only pedal they make (to my knowledge). What I did not show in the video is that it also accepts expression pedal input from any standard expression pedal, because at the time, I didn't have one handy. From another video demo, the expression pedal engages the up/down effect, and controls the LFO rate thereafter.
Also, in tap tempo mode, if you press and hold the MODE button until the light flashes twice, the unit outputs any flutter repeats in reverse. Just. Too. Crazy.
Anyway, you can skip to 7:40'something if you want to skip straight to the sound bytes. Thanks for watching.

Holy diver, @ 11:45--slap that on vinyl in the 7Ts and there would have been a head esplosion simultaneity disaster decimating teenage America.

Sounds great, Dino, well done!
It's definitely an interesting pedal.
