30 months and 2000 posts later, I have arrived. Sort of.
Just want to thank you, the active community for letting me feel included while doing my own outsider thing.
Been trying something different with music, not sharing or releasing anything since joining.
Or checking out stuff that ya'll are doing...I've been trying to focus on my own thing, letting it develop free from outside creative influence.
Easier said than done. I've only tried getting serious in these past several years...and it's a challenge.
My daily life has dramatically changed...and not for the better...as I haven't had a "day off" since Oct '13.
Few here know of my struggle...it's not a topic to casually chat about in public or use to petition for sympathy.
It's the type of tragic burden to suck the life out of a room when someone asks "how are things?" or "what have you been up to?" and I answer candidly. Plus it involves others and I try to respect their privacy...and suffering that makes my problems seem petty.
