Does anyone here do oil paintings?

A buddy of mine has a birthday next week, and as a gift I want to get him an oil paining of his dog. Rather than pay $100 to some jack off on the internet I've never met, I'd rather pay $100 to a FUZZBREAUX I've never met. Does anyone here do oil paintings? Or is there a suggestion on where to look locally? Is the answer a mall kiosk? I honestly have no clue.

Please don't let me stop you from looking, but generally speaking, oil paintings are fairly time intensive. Unless you find someone who's absolutely starving to paint something, you may not be able to hit that price in oils. If his birthday is next week, it likely wouldn't be dry in time for shipping.

ACRYLICS, on the other hand are easier to work with, so I'd think there would be more people that use it. They also dry very quickly, and somebody who knows what they're doing could knock a decent one out for you inside of a week, for $100 easy.

One of our employees is an amazing artist. Not sure if she has time to work on a commission with that short of a deadline but I'd be happy to ask. Shoot us an email if you want.
