Oh, so, you're talkin' mass market here?
I'll have to think about that. It's been a while since I've bought any.
This probably doesn't count, but I bought some of this today:
(I got the un-red variety, but couldn't find a good photo of it.)

it saddens me that no one else is enthusiastic about pickled vegetables. Be it cucumber, ginger, radish, cabbage.....

I like Wickles. Sweet and spicy (and pricey).
Plus the pickle juice is delicious, keep it and use it as a dressing (or just take swigs of it).
But my mom lives in rural Georgia near a really great farmer's market, gotta try some local stuff next time I'm there.

Pickle your own!
We've done cucumbers (spicy and dill), glass onions (those little ones you stick in cocktails and such), kimchi, beets, sauerkraut etc. All of them have turned out wonderful.

Oh and whenever I get any store bought pickles I immediately eat like five, and dump in fresh garlic, onions, jalapenos, and sriracha sauce. Shake it up and let it set for a week. Nothing beats a good spicy pickle.

I need to find a Lebanese market that throws the right pickled stuff on a falafel sandwich. I forget what all was in my favorite in west Houston, but some was beet and all of it was yummy.

Turnips. I used to work at a Lebanese restaurant. Pickled turnips are delicious.

I used to always have a gallon jar of Mt. Olive kosher dills in the refrigerator but now it's mostly my garden leftovers from last year.
