I know this might seem like a peculiar topic to raise in this forum but I know that a lot of you are very knowledgable about electronics and may be able to help in some way. .I have defrosted my freezer and there appears to be a loose black wire dangling about which I have not seen previously! Is this likely to be crucial to the successful operation of the unit? Would it be safe to turn freezer back on if I cover the wire with electrical tape?
