Using Analog Lab as a plug in

I don't get it. I'm using Ableton Live, and I'm trying to use Analog Lab as a plugin. I don't have any other plugins in ableton live, and this is my first time trying to get a VST into a DAW period. I sort of understand how to put plug ins into ableton live, but I can not find the file to do this with analog lab. All that was installed when i installed analog lab was the application and another application to uninstall it.

While I don't know how to do this myself (but as an Ableton user, I probably should), does this help?

You got me halfway there :) now I know how to install vst's (I just downloaded a DSK plugin online and installed it with no problem) but I still can't figure out how to use analog lab. Regular vst's seem to be a folder with a couple files that you can put into your vst folder with ableton, but analog lab is just a regular application and putting it in the folder doesn't do anything.
