Bit of a hen's tooth, thanks to strategy over at diysb for sending me this.

This pedal is really cool. Like strat says, a three band eq, with BP and HP filtering. It has a sort of MS-20 filter edge to it, like the Resonator, but with much less complexity.

I traced it out, with my super-duper-pooper schematic skills (not), here it is;

Here's the trace side reversed, with the components drawn in, in case anybody wishes to double check it.

If anyone wishes to clean up the schematic, by all means... :thumb:

I'm going to vero this, maybe stick it into a Crybaby shell, just controlling the BP, which can really rock the tone on it's own. All in all, it's one of those circuits that acts like a subtle seasoning on a nice juicy steak. I mean, the steak is great on it's own, but the seasoning adds that little extra zing to push it to the next level. Tone seasoning. Yeah... that's it! :lol:

Many thanks to Strategy for lending me this pedal for tracing. Another feather for the Hen's Tooth Cafe. I'll try to get a HTC video out soon.

HOLMES!

Nice, Dino, I've been wondering what these sound like.

Beautiful, Dino. Will you be furnishing us with the customary HTC video for our pleasure?

Interesting. I wanna hear what it sounds like. Colored knobbys are good.

I have one of these but it was built by Sanox. Pretty neat approach to an EQ/Filter, it's in storage somewhere so it probably didn't make much of an impression when I first got it. Should probably give it another whirl.

Yup. Try to get that out sometime today, or tomorrow. I have a hybrid germanium BMP board waiting to box up, so I might do that first, and then use it to demo the Holmes with.

For those that are curious, my latest BMP creation;

But I digress... :)
