So, people of North Carolina. ILFers of NC....

I am trying to see what interest there might be for local-pickup sales.

I have yet to become re-employed, but the bills keep rolling in. I thought I'd be able to get through February, but nope.

So I'm going to have to sell some stuff. I'd much rather it go to an ILFer than get lowballed at Guitar Center. Especially since I need dollars.

Some of my stuff includes
Mesa Roadking
70's Bassman Master Volume
Crate Powerblock
ROland Microcube


Probably some other stuff.

Just curious how locals feel.

what are you looking to get for that bassman?

As this isn't B/s/t, I kinda thought b/s/t discussion would be unfavorable. Where as my goal is to see if any Carolineans would care to ignore shipping/ins on amps and/or guitar and stuff. I don't even know what I can sell.

You can list it in the B/S/T too, as local pickup only.
You might get more interest that way from non-members.
You can also list on eBay and Reverb with local pickup only.

I've got a Ampeg V4 that I'm thinking about listing that way.

Problem is I don't ebay or reverb. I am kind of afraid of the internet. Also I don't really want to sell to total strangers.

I should probably list in B/s/t as that's where people go to buy stuff. But I thought it was inappropriate to post there just to see if locals were into it.
