My friend bought them all. He's waitlisted though. He can't wait for them. I was kinda surprised that he went so nuts for them as he kinda just plays his chello clean.

I think I read somewhere that the guy that started teenage also did stuff with cheap monday in the past. It's probably an attempt to market to a broader market.
teenage kinda sells the whole style thing with their products and it seems that cheap monday makes their work outfits and probably helps make them look "neat" to the hipsters out there.
Plus, dudes with expendablE income buy expensive clothes and theyes market alot with the accessories. Seems like the kind of marketing/product pairing that stores like popkiller, giant robot and etc. thrive on.

Definitely has to do with distribution/reach (I'd bet money they'll sell these at Urban Outfitters) was just curious because usually there's some sort of copy explaing the collab.

I edited my previous post but, on a completely different note, this Samsung tablet has the craziest, worst auto-correct ever. It adds strange capitalizations and changes stuff to stuff that ain't even a word.
But, I completely forgot about urban outfitters. I think they figure the price tag makes these things add on items. 60 is groceries for some but it's 2 craft beers for alot of these kids. Cheap monday gets them there (the stores) and they were already marketing buddies.
Edit: that dang autocorrect.

my samsung is being weird too...
Your edited post is on the money; definitely a lot of overlap between the markets and they both sell that quirky aesthetic. Still weird there isn't a little story about it though.

There was I just can't find the article. It was something like the dude that started TE asked CM to design lab coats. Just people trying expand brands.

I bought my Grundig console because it had this record still in it. It seemed like destiny!
